Tess Family Reunion

We just returned from a great vacation in Montana with the Tess clan. We really enjoyed our time at camp visiting family and friends. We also celebrated Mike and Kathy's 40th anniversary. We took a lot of pictures so instead of me writing a lot I am just going to let the pictures do the talking!

These are just a few pictures of when we arrived at Papa and Grandma's house. I will put more pictures up of Yellowstone Bible Camp later.

Hey everyone. I haven't posted any thing new lately because our camera is no longer functional. We went to Arizona and California in June and had so many wonderful camera moments and the thing just wouldn't work. So now I am saving my babysitting money to buy a new one. So far I have $140.00. Hopefully by the end of July I will have a couple hundred to buy something good! We will be taking a trip up to Montana for church camp with the rest of the Tess family. We are so looking forward to getting out of this heat! Until then I won't have any pictures on here. Sorry! Have a blessed week!

Randomness!

Our garden after we planted. If it ever stops raining and
the sun will shine we might get something!

Katie loves the rose bushes in the front yard
and looks at them out her bedroom window every
morning!

Anna and Ben riding thier bikes.

Mommy and Anna's Day May 9th

Anna also got to ride some rides at the mall.

Anna picked out the Hannah Montana bear. She was so excited
to watch it get stuffed.

The finished bear!

Anna and Mommy finally got to have our date. I let her chose what she wanted to do and she had some money from Grandpa Vernon so we went to Build A Bear Workshop. She picked out the Hannah Montana bear and was so excited she wouldn't stand still to get a good picture! She got to pick out an outfit, name the bear, and make a birth certificate. Of course she named the bear Hannah! After we were done at Build A Bear we walked around the mall and found some cool rides. Her favorite was the helicopter because it went up and down. We had a wonderful day which was a blessing after the rough week she and I had. I really do enjoy our time together and hope the kids do too!

A Day for just Ben and Mom.

Ben after climbing the ropes.

Peek A Boo!

He wanted to go faster, but he kept sticking
cause the slide was hot.

The turtles at the wetland area
at Route 66 park.

Looking out over the wetlands.

Ben went to chicago! At the route 66
park there is a path that lists all of the places where the
old highway 66 goes with Chicago being the final stop.

Looking over the ponds.

One day last week I didn't have to babysit so after taking Anna to school Ben and I went to the route 66 park. Its our favorite park to go to. They have a wetlands area that is full of turtles, ducks, birds, bull frogs, and other creatures. Its a lot of fun. We had a great time with it being just the two of us. Ben was an angel! :)
Katie and I also had some time to ourselves. She has been begging me to go to the Hannah Montana movie. So on Saturday afternoon we went. The movie didn't start until 4:30, but she kept asking me if we can go so we went around 3:30ish. then we had to sit there for an hour! She didn't care though, she was so excited about going to the movies with mom. And of course she loved it. She told me it was the best time she ever had with me. I am not sure how to take that cause after all it was Hannah Montana.
This Saturday will be Anna's turn for Mom and me time. I haven't decided what to do with her. We will see...

Easter

We had a great weekend. As usual we were busy, but it was a good time. On Saturday Katie had a soccer game, which they won, because the other team didn't show up. Since we were all there they decided to do a practice game against each other. Katie scored a goal! She was pretty excited. After soccer we came home and planted the garden or at least part of it. My friend Amanda came in from Colorado Saturday afternoon to spend a few days with us and she came in at just the right time. Saturday night we had a big rain, lighting, and thunder storm! Saturday night we colored Easter eggs and played the wii.
Sunday we had church then had Easter lunch at our house with Amanda, Greg, Melanie, and their girls. It was still raining so we had an egg hunt inside. I think it was fun for them anyway. It was a wonderful weekend filled with fun, family, and candy, lots of candy! Thanks for reading!

Happy Easter!

Of course Katie and Anna have to talk
during the family picture.

Ben could not wait to do another one.

March/April

The beginning of our garden.
We are hoping to plant this week!

This is the dirt we got for our gardens. Of course I couldn't keep the kids out of it!

This was the game on the 4th. Anna wouldn't stay in one spot so I could get a picture. Joe has them make Puma faces to get them excited about the game.

We had a little bit of snow and Anna and Ben couldn't wait to get in it. As always in Oklahoma the wind was blowing and it was cold. They didn't last long outside!
